About Intocable

Intocable first made their mark on the music scene in 1993, playing at local parties and events around their hometown of Zapata, Texas. The Tejano and Norteño band quickly distinguished themselves with a unique sound that blended traditional Tejano music with a hint of rock, highlighted by the rhythmic addition of a drum kit.

Their rise to fame was cemented in the late '90s as their expanding audience in the U.S. and Mexico became more obvious. Their accolades grew, with a Latin Grammy Award win for Best Norteño Album and nominations for Best Mexican/Mexican-American Album and Best Norteño Album in 2005 and 2011, respectively.

In the years since, their ever-evolving style has kept them at the forefront of the Tejano music scene. In 2019, Crossroads: Cruce de Caminos proved to be a major crossover success, helping to bring Norteño music to an international audience. They have even begun to influence new artists, further contributing to the genre’s evolution

Looking ahead, listeners can anticipate more groundbreaking music and dynamic performances, as the group remains focused on paying homage to their roots while embracing new sounds. Their upcoming projects are highly anticipated by their loyal fan base, eager to see where Intocable’s innovative spirit will lead them next.
