About Halestorm
Halestorm began their musical endeavor in the late '90s, a venture initiated by siblings Lzzy and Arejay Hale. From their early days performing at local shows and county fairs, their undeniable talent and dedication quickly set the groundwork for something bigger. Their breakthrough came in 2005 when they inked a deal with Atlantic Records, setting them on the road to their eponymous debut release in 2009.
With a gritty blend of hard rock, heavy metal, and alternative, Halestorm quickly gained recognition. It was their song "I Miss the Misery" and the album The Strange Case Of... that catapulted them into the spotlight, showcasing Lzzy's powerful vocals and the band's dynamic performance style, and their commitment to their craft was evident as they embarked on an extensive touring schedule.
This relentless dedication paid off when "Love Bites (So Do I)" from The Strange Case Of... earned them a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance in 2013. Their ability to top the charts was proven with singles like "Freak Like Me" and albums such as Into the Wild Life achieving top ten spots. Halestorm didn't stop at mainstream success, though; they ventured into creative explorations.
A series of cover EPs entitled ReAniMate demonstrated their versatility, covering a wide array of songs from artists across various genres. Additionally, their collaborative efforts, Lzzy Hale's notable single with Eric Church, have broadened their reach. They are a formidable force, and there’s no doubt they will sink their raw energy and innovative spirit into anything that comes in the next chapter of their career.
