About Matisse

Pablo Preciado and Román Torres met during their studies and bonded over their passion for music. Their songwriting honed their talents in Mexico City, where industry giants took notice. Their official debut came in 2014 with the single "La Misma Luna," paving the way for their critically acclaimed album Sube.  The group’s strength lies in their ability to blend poignant and poetic words with beautiful melodies, creating music that resonates deeply with listeners.  They broadened their audience with "Sé Que Te Vas,” a collaboration with Ha*Ash.  The group's lyrical sincerity and melodic sensibility earned them a nomination for Best New Artist at the 2015 Latin Grammy Awards, a true testament to their impactful entry into the Latin music scene.
