The Dayton Flyers men's basketball team plays their home games on Blackburn Court at the University of Dayton Arena. This multi-purpose facility opened in 1969 and has a seating capacity of 13,409. It has hosted more NCAA Tournament games than any other venue, and in addition to basketball, it serves as the site of WWE matches, premier concerts, and WGI World Championships.

  • Henry Finkel (1963–1966): Finkel was a dominant center for Dayton known for his impressive skills under the basket. Drafted 17th overall by the Los Angeles Lakers, he remained in the NBA for nine years and played a crucial role in the Boston Celtics 1974 championship.

  • Don May (1965–1968): A standout at Dayton, Don May led his team to the NCAA Finals in 1967 before being drafted by the New York Knicks the following year. It wasn’t long before he established himself as a go-to player, and he was vital to their 1970 title run.

  • Jim Paxson Jr. (1975–1979): Paxson was a prolific scorer with the Flyers. Drafted by the Lakers, his multi-season NBA career was an extension of his collegiate success. His athletic skills were  matched by his leadership both on and off the court.

  • Brian Roberts (2004–2008): Roberts was known for his shooting ability. After he left Dayton, he made his NBA debut with the New Orleans Hornets and had a five-year professional career. His playmaking abilities made him an extremely valuable player.

  • Obi Toppin (2017–2020): Toppin's time at Dayton was marked by numerous accolades, including Naismith College Player of the Year honors. Drafted 8th overall by the New York Knicks in 2020, his athleticism and dunking ability were put on display for the world.
