Empower Field at Mile High, home of the Broncos, opened its doors in 2001 and is located in the Sun Valley neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The name "Mile High" pays homage to the city’s elevation, which is exactly one mile (5,280 feet) above sea level.

Throughout the impressive facility, guests can find interactive areas and fan zones that often offer games and giveaways. Visitors can indulge in classic game fare at concourse kiosks or gear up at the Broncos Team Store.

With a capacity of over 76,000 people, Empower Field offers a variety of accommodations that cater to various preferences. GoTickets provides detailed seating charts, but we’ve included a basic breakdown of the venue’s main areas below.

100 Level

Sections on the lowest tier wrap fully around the arena and typically have about 40 rows of seats with numbers beginning close to the field. While looking toward the grass, seat 1 will be on the right side. 

Although lower-numbered rows sell quickly, those concerned with seeing over the players, staff, and equipment on the field should consider higher rows for a better chance of unobstructed visibility.

The Broncos players parade onto Empower Field through a tunnel between sections 134 and 135 and head to their sideline in front of sections 104–106. Visiting teams enter between sections 129 and 130 and line up in front of sections 122–124.

300 Level

Along the 300-level sidelines, you’ll find seats that hang over the 100 level. This is the United Club Level, and its premium location offers some of the best vantage points available. Rows 10 and up may also be partially or completely sheltered from the sun or precipitation by the upper level.

Ticket holders can watch the action from oversized, padded seats and receive access to exclusive lounges, including the warm and cozy Fireside Lounge, as well as upgraded dining options. Premium sections closer to the southern corner (300–302 and 344–346) go a step further with in-seat service and semi-private accommodations.

If you prefer elevated viewing without the cost of a club-level ticket, check for anything available in the north end zone. Sections include fewer than 20 rows, and the entrance is around row 5. If you’re concerned with sun, rain, or snow, try tickets in rows 10–19.

500 Level

Upper-level sections surround the field on the third tier of the stadium and are marked with numbers in the 500s. Lower rows have views considered comparable to the 300/Club Level. However, at this elevation, higher rows are not recommended for anyone with a fear of heights or trouble scaling steep staircases.

Plaza Level

Situated higher up in the stadium, a single deck of seats above the south end zone is for budget-conscious fans who enjoy a broader view of the game and don’t mind braving the elements.

Accessibility Options

Empower Field at Mile High offers a limited number of ADA tickets to accommodate fans with disabilities, and valid tickets purchased at GoTickets.com can sometimes be exchanged for ADA seats in the same areas. Requests are honored whenever possible, but relocations are not guaranteed, so notify the stadium of your needs as soon as possible.

Three hours before an event and one hour afterward, shuttle services are available to transport guests requiring assistance to and from official parking areas. Ramps are positioned on all four corners of the building, and twelve public elevators divided between all levels are located at the 50-yard line on the east and west sides of the facility.

Parking & Alternative Transportation

Parking around the venue can be challenging during events, so planning ahead is advisable. We highly recommend planning ahead by booking parking at the time of your Cowboys ticket purchase. 

If you prefer alternative transportation options, the C, E, and W light rail lines of the Regional Transportation District (RTD) all stop at the nearby Empower Field at Mile High Station. It's a popular choice for fans looking to avoid traffic and parking hassles. RTD also provides several bus routes that serve the stadium.

Denver B-cycle, the city's bike-sharing program, is a great option for eco-conscious fans. You can rent a bike from one of the many stations around Denver and cycle to the stadium. Bike racks are available for secure storage.

Broncos Tailgating & Game Day Traditions

When it comes to Denver football, game day isn't just about what happens on the field—it’s a full-fledged bash! Broncos fans take their tailgating seriously, and partygoers arrive hours before kickoff to fire up their grills, share stories, and enjoy classic cookout fare.
