The History of St. Louis Blues Hockey

The St. Louis Blues are a symbol of the city's spirit and resilience. Founded in 1967 as one of six expansion teams, the Blues have carved a unique path. They returned to the Finals the following two years, but each time, they came up short. However, in 2019, after years of unwavering dedication, the team finally captured their first Stanley Cup in a thrilling victory over the Bruins!

The Blues are now considered one of the top teams in the NHL, with a strong foundation and a bright future. They remain committed to their core players and continue to build through the draft and free agency. Fans are optimistic about the team's chances of continued success and potential for another Stanley Cup championship. 

The Blues Hockey Schedule

The Blues compete in the Central Division of the Western Conference, with most of their games focused on opponents such as the Colorado Avalanche, Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild, Nashville Predators, and Winnipeg Jets. 

Of course, their main rivalry is with the Chicago Blackhawks, who also compete in the Central. If you’re looking for a game with a little extra motivation behind it, this is definitely one of those. This battle has been ongoing for decades, and no matter where things stand in the league, every one of their confrontations is contentious.

In the Pacific Division, the Vegas Knights, Los Angeles Kings, and Vancouver Canucks would all love to add another W, no matter who they have to beat to get it, especially if it means eliminating their potential Conference Finals competition. The Eastern Conference is also full of worthy adversaries. Consider some of those original teams we referenced earlier! Enterprise Center Information

The Enterprise Center is a prominent multi-purpose arena that has played a pivotal role in sports and entertainment in St. Louis. In addition to hosting thrilling Blues NHL games, the venue is renowned for its versatility. It has hosted WWE matches, Disney on Ice, major concerts, and more.  

Seating

With a seating capacity of just over 18,000 for hockey events, the Enterprise Center offers options to suit any preference. Sections near the player benches provide excellent vantage points right in the thick of the action. The Blues sit in front of Section 102–103 , and the visiting team gathers closer to Section 104.

The first row around the bowl is where you’ll find the glass seats, which provide ticket holders with access to the Rinkside Club and Pub 67, as well as early entry to the arena and all-inclusive food and beverages.

The penalty box is at the front of Section 116, and St. Louis shoots twice on the goal in front of Sections 109–110. On the upper level, Section 312 will give you a birds-eye view of it. Sections 308–310 are where you will come across lots of families. These seats are affordable, and the atmosphere is unbeatable.

The opposite side of the ice is where you’ll find the Party Zone, and Sections 327, 328, and 329 are right above it. It's where attendees can mingle and enjoy a few adult beverages during the game. These sections sell fast—the price is right, and the company can’t be beat!

Parking

The Enterprise Center Garage is adjacent to the arena at 1401 Clark Avenue, but with proximity comes a higher price, so this option is typically the most expensive. Across the street from the arena at 1900 Clark Avenue, you’ll find the Gateway Parking Garage. City Center Garage is located nearby at 1000 Market Street. It’s a bit further away, but it is usually less expensive than the other two options.

The Center's Surface Lot is also across the street, at 1801 Clark Ave, but it’s much more budget-friendly than the garages. Finally, Lot B is at 1501 Chestnut Street, which makes it the furthest option, but it's also the one most likely to have vacancies. Finding spots can be difficult on event days. To be safe, we recommend reserving parking passes when you purchase your St. Louis Blues tickets.

Alternative Transportation

MetroLink provides light rail services in the St. Louis area. The Civic Center Transit Center is the nearest station to the Enterprise Center, and MetroBus operates various routes in St. Louis, with stops in the vicinity. Routes 4, 10, and 30 are among those that serve the area.

Passengers can pay with cash, buy tickets at stations, or use contactless payment methods like the Metro Transit app or a MetroLink-specific card. Check the Metro Transit website for the latest fare, route, and schedule information.
