SoFi Stadium Tickets From GoTickets

You descend into the bowl — literally, because this stadium was built 100 feet below street level — and the first thing that hits you is the Infinity Screen: a 70,000-square-foot, dual-sided Samsung video board suspended above the field like a hovering spaceship, the largest in all of professional sports. Then the translucent ETFE canopy catches the late-afternoon California sun, flooding the entire venue in golden light while keeping the elements out and the energy in. This is SoFi Stadium — the most expensive stadium ever built, a $5.5 billion architectural marvel that transformed a defunct racetrack in Inglewood into the epicenter of sports and entertainment in Los Angeles. Home to both the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, SoFi Stadium LA has hosted Super Bowl LVI, the College Football Playoff National Championship, WrestleMania 39, a six-night Taylor Swift Eras Tour run, and Ed Sheeran's all-time single-event attendance record of over 81,000 fans — and it's just getting started. The 2026 calendar is the most loaded in the venue's young history: eight FIFA World Cup matches including the USMNT's tournament opener, a staggering concert slate headlined by BTS, Bruno Mars, Karol G, Usher & Chris Brown, Ed Sheeran, and JAY-Z, and a full NFL season for two franchises. Secure your SoFi Stadium tickets from GoTickets and experience the most ambitious venue on the planet. Every purchase is backed by our buyer guarantee.

2026 FIFA World Cup — June 12 through July 10

SoFi Stadium — temporarily renamed Los Angeles Stadium for the tournament — hosts eight World Cup matches: five group-stage games (including two USMNT matches), two Round of 32 knockouts, and a quarterfinal. NFL Football

Both the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers call SoFi Stadium home, meaning the venue hosts roughly 20 NFL regular-season games each fall plus preseason. The 2026 preseason kicks off in August, and the regular season runs from September through January. Key Rams home opponents in 2026 include the New York Giants, Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers, and Kansas City Chiefs. The Chargers welcome the Arizona Cardinals, Las Vegas Raiders, Denver Broncos, New York Jets, New England Patriots, and San Francisco 49ers. Browse all available SoFi Stadium tickets at GoTickets.

History of SoFi Stadium

For more than two decades, Los Angeles was the largest metropolitan area in the United States without an NFL team. Both the Rams and Raiders left after the 1994 season, and despite years of proposals — from a downtown stadium to a Coliseum renovation to an ill-fated plan for the old Hollywood Park Racetrack in the mid-1990s — nothing materialized. That changed in January 2014, when St. Louis Rams owner E. Stanley Kroenke quietly purchased a 60-acre parcel of land adjacent to the recently closed Hollywood Park Racetrack in Inglewood. Within a year, Kroenke and the Hollywood Park Land Company unveiled plans for a 70,000-seat stadium within a 298-acre mixed-use entertainment district. In January 2016, NFL owners voted 30–2 to approve the Rams' relocation to Los Angeles, and the San Diego Chargers exercised their option to join them as co-tenants a year later.

What Kroenke built was unprecedented — not just in scale, but in ambition and engineering. The site sat just three miles from Los Angeles International Airport, and FAA radar restrictions prohibited any structure from rising more than 100 feet above street level. Rather than accept a shallow bowl, architect Lance Evans and the HKS team dug down. An estimated 7.5 million cubic yards of earth were excavated, pushing the playing field and seating bowl 100 feet below grade. Fans descend into the stadium rather than climbing up to it. Above them, a massive translucent ETFE canopy — neither fully enclosed nor fully open — allows natural light and ocean breezes to filter through while shielding fans from rain and harsh sun. Kroenke paid approximately $29 million for LAX infrastructure upgrades to avoid radar interference, and no tower cranes were permitted during construction — a logistical feat that added complexity and cost at every stage.

The result was the most expensive stadium ever built: approximately $5.5 billion, entirely privately financed with no public tax dollars. SoFi Stadium opened on September 8, 2020, with a Rams preseason game played to an empty venue due to COVID-19 restrictions. Fans didn't fill the building until the 2021 season — but when they did, the stadium immediately proved its worth. The Rams won Super Bowl LVI on their home field in February 2022. The College Football Playoff National Championship followed in January 2023. WrestleMania 39 took over two nights in April 2023. And the concert era exploded: Taylor Swift played six sold-out nights on the Eras Tour, Beyoncé performed three shows on the Renaissance World Tour — including her famous birthday concert — and Ed Sheeran shattered the venue's all-time attendance record with over 81,000 fans on a single night. SoFi Technologies secured the naming rights in a deal worth approximately $625 million over 20 years, making it the most valuable naming rights agreement in NFL history at the time.

Now, in 2026, SoFi Stadium takes its place on the world stage: eight FIFA World Cup matches, including the USMNT's tournament opener on June 12 and a quarterfinal on July 10, followed by BTS, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, JAY-Z, and a full NFL season for two franchises. And it's only the beginning — Super Bowl LXI is scheduled for February 2027, and the 2028 Summer Olympics will hold both their opening and closing ceremonies inside this building. Grab your SoFi Stadium tickets at GoTickets and experience the venue that is redefining what a stadium can be.

The SoFi Stadium Experience

What to Expect

Walking into SoFi Stadium is unlike entering any other sports venue. You descend below street level through sweeping concourses and open-air plazas, and the first thing that commands your attention is the Infinity Screen — the 70,000-square-foot dual-sided Samsung video board hovering above the field, visible from every seat in the house and rendering 80 million pixels in 4K HDR. The translucent ETFE canopy overhead creates an indoor-outdoor hybrid environment that feels climate-controlled without being sealed — sunlight pours through during day games, and the canopy glows dramatically at night. Seating is spread across multiple levels, from field-level Bungalow Suites to the upper concourse, with 260 luxury suites, premium clubs, and a vast general-admission bowl. Concessions span a wide range of options, and the venue is entirely cashless — credit, debit, and mobile payments only. The adjacent Hollywood Park entertainment district includes restaurants, shops, and the YouTube Theater, making it easy to extend any event into a full day or evening out.

What to Know Before You Go

SoFi Stadium enforces a clear bag policy. Only clear bags measuring 12" × 6" × 12" or one-gallon clear freezer bags are permitted, along with small clutch bags no larger than 4.5" × 6.5". No backpacks, purses, fanny packs, tote bags, or camera bags are allowed. All tickets are mobile-only. Arrive early — gates open two to three hours before NFL kickoffs and roughly 90 minutes before concerts. For NFL games, parking lots open four to five hours before kickoff, and the Pink Zone (the only tailgating-designated lot) opens five hours prior. Tailgating is permitted for NFL games only — FIFA World Cup match days prohibit tailgating anywhere on the Hollywood Park campus. Dress comfortably; the ETFE canopy keeps rain out but allows airflow, so summer events can still be warm and winter games can be cool. Sunscreen is recommended for afternoon events.

Parking & Transportation

Parking at SoFi Stadium requires advance planning — showing up without a pre-purchased parking pass is not an option. More than 9,000 spaces are spread across structured garages and surface lots within the Hollywood Park district, organized into color-coded zones. All parking must be purchased in advance online — no cash is accepted, and day-of rates are higher than pre-purchased passes. For NFL games, the Pink Zone is the only lot where tailgating is permitted. For the 2026 season, note that the Purple Zone is no longer available and two new parking structures (PS-2 and PS-3) have been added south of the stadium. ADA-accessible stalls are available in all zones on a first-come, first-served basis with a valid state-issued placard plus a parking pass.

Public transit is strongly encouraged and, for many fans, is the smartest option. The most direct route is the LA Metro C Line (Green) or K Line (Crenshaw) to the LAX/Metro Transit Center Station, where a free SoFi Stadium Shuttle departs from Bus Bay 8 every three to five minutes starting approximately three hours before events. The journey from downtown Los Angeles takes roughly 35–45 minutes. Additional bus options include GTrans Line 7X, Culver CityBus Line 99 Express, and Torrance Transit. For World Cup matches, Metro's Park & Ride program offers reserved parking at remote locations with round-trip shuttle service included — a popular and economical alternative. Rideshare drop-off and pickup is available at designated locations including Kareem Court and Manchester Boulevard, but be warned: post-event rideshare queues after 70,000+ fans exit simultaneously can be extremely long and surge-priced. Metro is almost universally recommended for the return trip. The venue is located approximately three miles east of LAX, with free airport shuttles connecting to the LAX/Metro Transit Center. Reserve your parking in advance through GoTickets for guaranteed access on event days.

Frequently Asked Questions

What events are at SoFi Stadium in 2026?

The 2026 calendar at SoFi Stadium includes eight FIFA World Cup matches (June 12 – July 10), featuring the USMNT's opening match against Paraguay and a quarterfinal. The concert lineup features Ed Sheeran (August 8), Karol G (August 14–16), BTS (September 1–6), Usher & Chris Brown (September 25–26 and November 15), Bruno Mars (September 30 – October 7), and JAY-Z (October 23). The LA Rams and LA Chargers both play full NFL home schedules from August through January. Browse all available SoFi Stadium tickets at GoTickets.

Where is SoFi Stadium?

SoFi Stadium is located at 1001 Stadium Drive in Inglewood, California — approximately three miles east of LAX, five miles southwest of downtown Los Angeles, and minutes from the Pacific coast. The stadium sits within the 298-acre Hollywood Park entertainment district, adjacent to the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome.

How big is SoFi Stadium?

SoFi Stadium has a standard seating capacity of 70,240, expandable to over 100,000 for major events with additional floor seating and standing room. It is the most expensive stadium ever built at approximately $5.5 billion, entirely privately financed. The Infinity Screen — the largest video board in professional sports — spans 70,000 square feet of 4K HDR display surface above the playing field.

Is SoFi Stadium indoors or outdoors?

SoFi Stadium is a unique hybrid — covered but not fully enclosed. A massive translucent ETFE canopy covers the seating bowl year-round, shielding fans from rain and direct sun while allowing natural light and airflow. It is not air-conditioned in the traditional sense, so temperatures inside are influenced by the weather outside. Think of it as a permanently covered outdoor stadium.

Do I need to buy parking in advance?

Yes — parking at SoFi Stadium must be pre-purchased online. Guests without a parking pass will be turned away at the gates. On-site parking is limited to 9,000+ spaces across color-coded zones, and day-of rates are higher than advance prices. Public transit via the LA Metro shuttle (free from LAX/Metro Transit Center Station) is a popular and often faster alternative. Reserve your parking in advance through GoTickets.

What is the bag policy at SoFi Stadium?

SoFi Stadium enforces a clear bag policy. Only clear bags (12" × 6" × 12") or one-gallon clear freezer bags are permitted, along with small clutch bags (4.5" × 6.5"). No backpacks, purses, fanny packs, tote bags, or camera bags of any kind are allowed inside the stadium.

Can I tailgate at SoFi Stadium?

Tailgating is permitted for NFL games only, and exclusively in the Pink Zone parking lot — which opens five hours before kickoff. No tailgating is allowed in any other zone or for any non-NFL event, including FIFA World Cup matches and concerts.

Where can I buy SoFi Stadium tickets?
