  • Len Chappell (1959–1962): After winning two consecutive ACC Player of the Year Awards, Chappell was drafted as the 4th overall pick in 1962 by the Syracuse Nationals (now Philadelphia 76ers). Chappell played in the NBA for a decade for numerous teams. He was an NBA All-Star in 1964 and is remembered for his robust play and scoring ability, reflecting his college success.

  • Rodney Rogers (1990–1993): Picked 9th overall in 1993 by the Denver Nuggets, Rogers played 12 seasons in the NBA. He was named the NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2000 and was a formidable power forward, building on his strong collegiate performance that included ACC Player of the Year in 1993.

  • Tim Duncan (1993–1997): At Wake Forest, Duncan was a two-time ACC Player of the Year and a consensus All-American which led to him being selected 1st overall in 1997 by the San Antonio Spurs and had a legendary NBA career. A 15-time All-Star and five-time NBA champion, he also earned two MVP awards. This all earned him honors in the NCAA and NBA Hall of Fame.

  • Chris Paul (2003–2005): At Wake Forest, Paul was a consensus All-American and led the team to new heights with his exceptional playmaking skills. Drafted 4th overall in 2005 by the New Orleans Hornets (now Pelicans), he has been an elite NBA point guard, multi-time NBA All-Star, and four-time All-NBA Team honoree. He has represented the USA in the Olympics twice and earned gold medals both times in Beijing and London.

  • Jeff Teague (2007–2009): Teague’s time at Wake Forest was marked by a second-team All-American selection and impressive scoring performances. He was picked 19th overall in 2009 by the Atlanta Hawks and had a successful NBA career as a point guard with an All-Star appearance.
